Creating an In-depth Interview

  1. Select „Research“ from the top menu.
  2. Click the „New Research“ button.
  3. A modal window will open with details about the research.
  4. Fill in the research name.
  5. We recommend also filling in the „Goals and description“ input field, which allows you to see the research’s goal at a glance.
  6. If you want, you can link your Space, however, this can also be done later when creating the Opportunity Solution Tree.
  7. You can enter the scheduled end date for the whole research (not the date that the research will take place with the users)
  8. Select the research method – in this case, „In-depth Interview.“
  9. When finished with these steps, the newly created research will automatically open.

UserUP will accompany you during the entire Research process and enable you to return to it whenever; this includes the option to share with other team members and the company. Because the researches are stored in userUP, you can create a Discovery Backlog as well as an Opportunity based on real user behaviour, i. e., their needs, worries, and problems. This will help you create an Opportunity Solution Tree.
